Reporter: The orders still seemed to be coming in thick and fast. And Andrew didn’t seem to be lifting a finger. Even more so as he was now going to Paris for the weekend to do a spot of shopping. But to make sure he didn’t take his laptop, I sent a cameraman along with him. Because I wanted to be there on Monday morning to see what his total was. So Andrew, how was the weekend then?
Andrew Reynolds: It was very good actually. We went over to Paris, did some shopping. I even managed to persuade myself to leave the laptop behind.
Reporter: That must have been tricky.
Andrew Reynolds: It was very tricky, actually.
Reporter: So have you been on tenterhooks literally all weekend? Because I have, I’ve got to tell you.
Andrew Reynolds: I thought you would be. Yeah, for sure. So…I want to get into this actually and have a look-see.
Reporter: Okay. So we haven’t touched this since last week?
Andrew Reynolds: I’ve not touched this since then.
Reporter: We started this on Wednesday, didn’t we? Wednesday of last week. We were up to, on Thursday, how much? Just to refresh our memory.
Andrew Reynolds: I think we got up to round about four hundred thousand.
Reporter: Four hundred grand. Okay. So we’re hitting Send-Receive now. See what downloads into this. Go! I can’t wait. Go on please do it. You do it.
Andrew Reynolds: Do you want to do the honours?
Reporter: No, you do it.
Andrew Reynolds: You want me to do it? Okay.
Reporter: Just… I want to make sure you push the right button.
Andrew Reynolds: Okay. Let’s have a go here.
Reporter: Well, here they come then. Here they come.
Andrew Reynolds: Here they come. So these are from Thursday after we finished. You can see 21:53, 21:56. So this is after we packed up. While we were having our brandies.
Reporter: I mean I’m looking at the time span between each order. It’s about ten minutes. Less than ten minutes between each order that’s coming in, isn’t it? That’s amazing, isn’t it? It’s just loading in there.
Andrew Reynolds: It is amazing, actually, isn’t it? I mean, you can see this is getting up towards midnight on Thursday night so…I mean literally, while we having the brandies, this was coming in.
Reporter: How does it make you feel when you see this pouring in like this?
Andrew Reynolds: Well, it beats working for a living, for sure…better than the old corporate life.
Reporter: Does it get the adrenaline going? Does it make you feel really excited?
Andrew Reynolds: Yeah it does. It does. It’d make you feel excited with it. Few hundred grand coming in while you’re off doing other things.
Reporter: I mean, I look at this and I just think: “Wow.” So impressive.
Andrew Reynolds: Well, look at this. We’ve got 1:23 on Friday morning. So while I’m tucked up in bed, somebody’s online spending a few thousand pounds.
Reporter: Now then. Some incredible orders coming in here. What sort of figure, final figure, are you looking for on this?
Andrew Reynolds: Well. Let’s remember back to last week. You set me a challenge which I think was to pull in half a million pound worth of sales in less than a week. We’re now four and a half days into the thing. So…
Reporter: I think we’re pretty well on target, aren’t we?
Andrew Reynolds: Well, we’ll see when we finish these. But, yeah, to be honest, it looks as though we’ll just about get to your target figure in less than the seven days. Yeah.
Reporter: Now then. Obviously, I’m no financial expert. What I would like to do, I’d like to head back to the office if I can. And I’d like to show the orders coming in to our auditors. Would you mind if we did that?
Andrew Reynolds: That’s fine, yeah. Or we could do…I mean, obviously, there’s some data protection issues here. But if I print off all the orders…but maybe we can pull into the fulfilment house on the way and get the ones they processed towards the end of last week, as well. Then we can put the whole bundle in front of the auditors, they can go through it all.
Reporter: We could analyse all those figures and just make sure it is all above board.
Andrew Reynolds: They can tot it up, they can work out the total figures, we can go through the costs and everything, so they can actually come up with a final sort of profit figure or something. Yeah. No…
Reporter: And you’ve no objections if we do that?
Andrew Reynolds: No objections at all. I can show them the credit card receipts of the money actually coming in to my bank account through the credit card system. No, I’ve…
Reporter: In the meantime, we’re on to Sunday now.
Andrew Reynolds: This is still…this is Sunday’s orders. Yeah.
Reporter: Okay. We’ll let those orders come in. We’ll let them finish coming in and then we’ll head off to the office.
Andrew Reynolds: That’d be great. Let’s do that.
