Cash On Demand marketer Andrew Reynolds on the second day checking the online orders live on camera
Reporter: Do you find when you get back though, you get back home, have a nice cool glass of water, you’re itching to get on the computer and find out how many orders have come in?
Andrew Reynolds: You’re getting the bug actually, aren’t you?
Reporter: I am getting the bug.
Andrew Reynolds: I can tell. You need to see what’s going on. Let’s have a look and see what’s happened. We should have had some orders maybe coming in overnight. Because we checked when? Yesterday lunchtime?
Reporter: About 24 hours ago, wasn’t it? Just under.
Andrew Reynolds: Just under, actually. Yes. Okay. Why don’t you hit Send and Receive? I can’t.
Reporter: Are you serious?
Andrew Reynolds: No. Go on. You hit Send and Receive and let’s see live on camera what happens?
Reporter: How many do you think might come in here? We made what? Forty-five thousand yesterday?
Andrew Reynolds: It was just over 40 grand yesterday at lunchtime. Let’s just see.
Reporter: And these are new ones coming in now?
Andrew Reynolds: Yeah. I’ve put the other ones…they’ve all gone off. We’ve dispatched all the goods and everything yesterday for those. So these are the brand new orders that have come in since we last checked.
Reporter: This is unbelievable. You’ve got to see this to believe this. And they’re still coming in. This is unbelievable. These new orders coming in, online orders, you can see on the screen, are online orders. It’s fantastic. I wouldn’t have believed it had I not seen it for myself. I wouldn’t have believed it. So people have been ordering this maybe last night, early hours of this morning, first thing this morning?
Andrew Reynolds: Well if you look over here, these are coming in, 21:18 last night. 21:20. They’re like two minutes apart these things here. 21:49. 21:51.
Reporter: How does that make you feel when you see those orders coming in like that? A silly question, isn’t it?
Andrew Reynolds: Well, it’s pretty exciting, isn’t it?
Reporter: I mean I’m nervous. It’s just amazing.
Andrew Reynolds: So I was out last night with some friends and there are people here after ten o’clock at night spending money with me. And any minute now, this is going to go past midnight. You’ll some more new orders coming in as well
Reporter: So the orders are still coming in there. Unbelievably so, but they are. Two sixteen in the morning. People have been creeping out of bed ordering this stuff. It’s fantastic.
Andrew Reynolds: This is money coming in.
Reporter: I mean, it’s just incredible. How much is that in terms of money? What are we looking like?
Andrew Reynolds: There’s going to be something like a couple hundred thousand pounds there. So if we put that with yesterday…What did we have yesterday? About forty thousand yesterday. I mean, you’ve got the best part of a quarter of a million quid come in since we sat down for a beer yesterday lunchtime.
Reporter: And we’ve got another three days with you.
Andrew Reynolds: Oh, I’ve still got time, yeah.
Reporter: Do you reckon you’re going to make that magical amount that we set?
Andrew Reynolds: I think we should get there. This is looking good. I mean, if you can pull in quarter of a million pounds, in less than 24 hours, that’s a pretty good result so far. So it’s looking good. Yeah.
